1. What are credits and how do they work?
Credits are the currency you spend to create, edit and enhance content in WizStudio. 1 credit is roughly $0.10. Every action has a fixed credit cost, shown before you run it, and credits are deducted when you generate.
Here’s how credits are charged:
- Lifestyle images (single or multi-product) — 4 credits per 1K/2K image · 7 credits per 4K image
- AI image editing — 4 credits per 1K/2K edit · 7 credits per 4K edit
- Quick enhancements — Relight, Background Removal, AI Expand: 1 credit each · AI Shadow: 3 credits
- Upscaling — Upscaling to 4K : 2 credits; Upscaling to 8K – 7 credits
- Lifestyle videos —
· 2 credits/sec at 480p
· 5 credits/sec at 720p
· 11 credits/sec at 1080p
· 22 credits/sec at 4K (a 5-second 1080p clip ≈ 55 credits) - Product Variant Builder — 4 credits per 1K/2K variant · 7 per 4K

2. What happens when I purchase a subscription?
You get instant access to your plan’s credits and features. Your billing cycle starts immediately.
3. What happens on monthly/yearly auto-renewal?
Your subscription renews automatically, and: New credits are added; Unused credits are carried forward.
4. Do my unused credits always roll over to the next month?
Yes, your unused credits roll over as long as your subscription remains active. If you cancel your plan, any unused credits will expire.
5. What happens if I use all my credits before the next billing cycle?
You can purchase additional topups on the existing plan or upgrade your plan for a long term cheaper option.
6. What happens when I get a topup over my existing plan? When will the topups credit expire?
Top-up credits are added to your existing credit pool and work exactly like plan credits — they roll over as long as your subscription renews. Top-ups start at 400 credits for $50
7. What happens when I upgrade to a higher monthly/yearly plan?
Your current plan is replaced immediately and remaining credits are carried forward. You get the additional credits of the new plan, plus any unused credits from your current plan. The billing cycle remains the same and you pay the difference in price.
8. What happens if I upgrade from monthly to yearly?
Your current plan ends immediately. Yearly plan starts on the same day and you have to pay the full amount upfront. You get full yearly credits plus unused credits carried forward.
9. What happens if my recurring payment fails?
Multiple attempts would be made in a 3 day period. If payment succeeds, your plan continues normally. If payment fails, your access is removed and any unused credit will expire.
10. When does my renewal officially happen if payment is delayed?
If payment is completed during the grace period, your renewal is counted from the original renewal date, not the payment date.
11. What happens if I cancel my subscription?
You’ll continue to have full access until the end of your current billing cycle. After that, no further charges will be made and your credits will expire. You can also reactivate your subscription before the end of your billing cycle.
12. What happens if I cancel and come back later?
You can subscribe again anytime but previous unused credits would not be restored.
13. Can I switch to a lower plan anytime? What happens to my unused credits when I downgrade?
Yes, but the downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. Unused credits would be carried forward to the lower plan. Yearly to Monthly switches aren’t available directly; contact support.
14. What is Done For You (DFY) and how does it work?
A service where WizStudio’s image stylists create and refine images on your behalf. You’re charged only for images you accept, with unlimited iterations before that. Each accepted image uses a small number of DFY credits plus standard credits:
- Silos and Dimensional Drawings — 0.5 DFY credit + 20 credits
- Product Variants — 0.5 DFY credit + 30 credits
- Single-product Lifestyle — 0.5 DFY credit + 100 credits
- Multi-product Lifestyle — 1 DFY credit + 100 credits
15. Do I pay extra for Done For You?
Annual Core, Growth and Scale plans include DFY credits (60, 120 and 300 per year respectively). Basic and Starter, and all monthly plans, can add DFY as needed. Additional DFY credits are $250 for 20.
16. How many images or videos can I download?
As many as you like. Credits are charged when you generate, not when you download — so every image or video you’ve created is yours to download at no extra cost, as many times as you need, in any format your plan supports.
