Why WizCommerce Is the Best B2B Commerce Platform to Integrate With QuickBooks Desktop

Wholesale distributors on QuickBooks Desktop rely on its mature sales order workflows, multiple price levels, and detailed inventory tracking. But selling B2B online means re-keying orders, updating inventory manually, and managing pricing across disconnected systems. WizCommerce changes that. Unlike generic B2B ecommerce tools, WizCommerce sits cleanly on top of QuickBooks Desktop and adds the selling capabilities QBD was never built to provide:

  • B2B ecommerce storefronts for wholesale buyers
  • Sales rep order-taking and assisted selling
  • AI-powered workflows to automate manual processes
  • Payment portals connected directly to QuickBooks Online data

All while keeping QuickBooks Desktop as the single source of truth.

How WizCommerce Handles Complex QuickBooks Desktop Environments With Ease

WizCommerce is designed to absorb ERP complexity so your teams don't have to manage it day to day. Instead of forcing rigid workflows, the platform adapts to how QuickBooks Desktop is already configured.

Handles complex B2B pricing structures natively

Wholesale, Dealer, Designer, Export, and custom price tiers all sync from QBD with one-to-one customer mapping applied automatically.

ERP-first design philosophy

QuickBooks Desktop remains the system of record at all times. WizCommerce extends it without duplicating logic or data — your ERP stays clean.

Native sales order workflow preserved

Unlike simpler integrations, WizCommerce pushes orders as sales orders in QBD — preserving your existing workflow from sales order to invoice to fulfillment.

Bi-directional sync without data conflicts

Records created in either system stay in sync automatically. No duplicates, no lost updates, no manual reconciliation between QBD and WizCommerce.

Incremental and change-safe updates

New fields, workflows, or rules can be added over time without downtime or re-implementation. The integration evolves with your business.

  • Automatic retries for temporary failures
  • Detailed, actionable error logs with “Ask AI” analysis
  • Manual & scheduled sync controls

Frequently Asked Questions

No. WizCommerce is designed to fit around your existing workflows, not replace them. Your ERP stays your system of record. Your sales reps keep their current process. Orders push to QBD as sales orders — preserving the same sales order to invoice workflow your team already uses.
The WizCommerce connector needs to run on a machine where QuickBooks Desktop is installed. The machine should be on during business hours for syncs to flow. The connector auto-starts on reboot, does not consume a QuickBooks user license, and QuickBooks itself does not need to be open — only the connector needs to be running.
Syncs queue automatically while the machine is offline. As soon as the machine and connector come back online, all pending updates catch up in the next sync cycle. No data is lost.
Orders placed in WizCommerce push directly to QuickBooks Desktop as sales orders with full line-item detail, customer references, and pricing. From there, your team creates invoices from those sales orders in QBD — the same workflow you already use.
WizCommerce integrates with all major ERPs — including NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, QuickBooks Online, and more. If you switch ERPs down the line, the integration can be re-mapped to your new system. Your WizCommerce storefront, customer data, and sales workflows don’t need to be rebuilt from scratch.
No dedicated development effort is required on your side. You’ll need someone who understands your QuickBooks Desktop workflows and can provide admin access for connector setup. WizCommerce handles the integration build, testing, and deployment.
QuickBooks Desktop remains the system of record. WizCommerce reads from and writes to QBD based on configured rules, ensuring no data duplication or ownership conflicts.
